This Privacy Policy Agreement (“Privacy Policy”) describes the information we collect, use, and disclose about you when you use RCU - Responsible Cannabis Use’s (a) websites, portals, mobile applications (the “Mobile Apps”), and software that link to or otherwise reference these Terms, including thercu.org, yourstori.com, app.yourstori.com, and canniknow.com and (b) social media pages and channels (collectively, the “Websites”), including any services, features, media, functions, content, tools and links contained or offered therein (collectively, the “Services”) and how we use, process, and disclose that information. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to RCU Group Inc. (“RCU”).

SECTION 1 - INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Websites or Services, we collect various types of information, such as:

Device Information. We automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Website or Services , we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Website or Services, and information about how you interact with the Website or Services. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

Voluntarily provided information

You may provide us with additional information by filling in forms on the Websites or by corresponding with us by phone, text, email, live chat, or otherwise. We may collect the following information: 

  • Contact Information: If you create an account on any of the Websites or Services (a “User Account”), this may include your name, email address, phone number, postal code and address and other information you may provide with your User Account, such as your gender and birth date. Your first name and last initial, as well as any photo you submit through the registration process, may be publicly displayed as part of your User Account profile.
  • Payment Information: Billing and/or credit card information etc., which may be used when you purchase products and/or services and to deliver the services you have requested. 
  • Feedback: Where you provide feedback, suggestions, comments, to  any of our Website or Services.
  • Product Usage and reviews
  • Locations Services: If you tell us where you are (e.g., by allowing your mobile device to send us your location), we may store and use that information to provide you with location- based information and advertising. If you want to deactivate this feature, you can either reinstall the mobile applications or deactivate GPS on your mobile device.

Personal Information
The Website or Services shall only collect personal information that you knowingly and willingly provide by way of surveys, completed membership forms, and emails. It is the intent of this site to use personal information only for the purpose for which it was requested and any additional uses specifically provided on this site. The personal information we may collect includes:

  • Contact Information: If you create an account on any of the Websites or Services (a “User Account”), this may include your name, email address, phone number, postal code and address and other information you may provide with your User Account, such as your gender and birth date.  
  • Demographic Information: When you complete a survey we may ask you for your demographics information such as your gender, age  and location.
  • Survey: Any information you provide in responding to a survey.

Third-Party Sources
Third-party applications and services, including social networks you choose to connect with or interact with through our services. For example, when you respond to one of our surveys that is connected to a social networking services account (e.g. Facebook), we may also collect information provided to us by such social networking service. The information collected is: contact information, demographic data, content and files, identifiers and device information, geolocation data, usage data, inferences.

SECTION 2 - HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Business Operations
We use your Personal Information to create your User Account on the Services, identify you as a user, provide, personalize, and improve the services.

Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Website or Services (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Website or Services, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

Marketing and Advertising
At times, we may find it necessary to use personally identifiable information as a means to keep you informed of other possible products and/or services that may be available to you from RCU. RCU may feel it necessary, from time to time, to make contact with you on behalf of other external business partners with regards to a potential new offer which may be of interest to you.

Communications
Communicate with you about your use of the Services. RCU may also be in contact with you with regards to completing surveys and/or research questionnaires related to your opinion of current or potential future services that may be offered.

Co-Branding/Joint Partner
Partners with which we offer co-branded services or engage in joint marketing activities. The information collected is: contact information, demographic data, content and files, identifiers and device information, geolocation data, usage data, inferences.

SECTION 3 - SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Information, as described above. We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

SECTION 4 - BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. SECTION 5 - PERSON UNDER AGE OF 18

The Website or Services are intended for use by persons over the age of 18. Accordingly, we do not knowingly collect information about persons who are younger than 18 years of age. If you think we have collected such information, please contact us and we will remove such information from our systems.

SECTION 6 - LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

Our Website or Services  does contain links to affiliates and other websites. RCU does not claim nor accept responsibility for any privacy policies, practices and/or procedures of other such websites. Therefore, we encourage all users and visitors to be aware when they leave our website and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. The aforementioned Privacy Policy Agreement applies only and solely to the information collected by our Website or Services.

SECTION 7 - RETENTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We keep your personal information as long as is reasonably necessary for us to complete our dealings with you, for the identified purposes set out in this Policy, or as may be required by applicable law, regulatory requirements or government contracts, whichever is longer, and which may extend beyond the termination of our relationship with you. In some cases, this may require us to keep certain personal information or Analytical Information for an indefinite period.

The information we collect may be stored and processed in your country or region, or in any other country where we or our affiliates, subsidiaries, or service providers maintain facilities.

SECTION 9 - YOUR RIGHTS

Unsubscribe or Opt Out
All users and/or visitors to our Website or Services have the option to discontinue receiving communication from us and/or reserve the right to discontinue receiving communications by way of email or newsletters. To discontinue or unsubscribe to our Website or Services please send an email that you wish to unsubscribe to support@yourstori.com. If you wish to unsubscribe or opt-out from any third-party websites, you must go to that specific website to unsubscribe and/or opt-out.

Information Choices
Access, correction, and deletion. If you wish to request access to, or correction or deletion of, information about you that we hold, you may email your request to support@yourstori.com.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we reserve the right to charge a fee or decline requests that are unreasonable or excessive, where providing the information would be prohibited by law or could adversely affect the privacy or other rights of another person, or where we are unable to authenticate you as the person to whom the information relates.

Do Not Track
Please note that we do not alter our Website or Services data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

Your EU Privacy Rights
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us at support@yourstori.com.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Website or Services ), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including Canada and the United States.

SECTION 10 - CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY AGREEMENT

RCU reserves the right to alter the Privacy Policy at any time without notice to you.

SECTION 11 - ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Through the use of this Website or Services, you are hereby accepting the terms and conditions stipulated within the aforementioned Privacy Policy Agreement. If you are not in agreement with our terms and conditions, then you should refrain from further use of our sites. In addition, your continued use of our website following the posting of any updates or changes to our terms and conditions shall mean that you are in agreement and acceptance of such changes.
